| （英） | This study introduces a preliminary methodology for integrating macro-areas into 3D maps, providing a consistent spatial reference for data analysis. The goal is to create a framework that allows for the analysis of behaviour within distinct regions of the map by translating highly granular coordinates into more manageable macro-areas. To achieve this, the public ESTA dataset from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournaments and the associated awpy documentation were employed. The result of this research is the integration of information on the events that occur during the matches with the data on macro-areas of the in-game maps, enabling a more accurate spatial investigation that considers in which location certain events are more likely to occur and derives meaningful insights on the decision-making process of the players. The proposed methodology lays the groundwork for future research within eSports and has potential utility in contexts like authentication or any scenario involving maps and coordinates, broadening its applicability to diverse datasets. | |
