The realization of smart factory has been desired.
In the smart factory, understanding the wireless environment in real-time is essential for the wireless transmission of information and power.
By time synchronizing multiple spectrum monitors, simultaneous multi-point and multi-frequency-band measurements can be performed.
As a fundamental investigation, we aim to generate a 4.8-GHz band local 5th-generation (L5G) radio map.
In an indoor environment where a L5G radio unit (RU) is installed, we developed formulas to calculate the distance dependency of the received power in both line-of-sight (LOS) and non-line-of-sight (NLOS) environments.
We measured the distance dependency of the received power and compared them with the calculation results using the formulas. The results showed the maximum error was 2.84,dB in the LOS environment and 4.87,dB in the NLOS environment. |
