Conventional power detection with high sampling rate is used for detailed wireless environment analysis and highly accurate prediction because it provides a more accurate understanding of the wireless environment. However, high sampling rates are problematic because of the large amount of extra data information and power consumption, as well as the difficulty of real-time analysis. We have focused on the fact that different wireless applications use different communication methods, and have shown that it is possible to classify the applications used by terminals even when the sampling rate is significantly reduced. This paper describes an application classification method using power detection with low sampling rates. |
