A Fast Automatic-Calibration Method for Current Feedforward of Dual Active Bridge DC-DC Converter

(in English) Dual Active Bridge (DAB) DC-DC converters are widely employed in Electric Vehicles (EVs) and smart grids due to their straightforward architecture and the capability for high-power and bidirectional power conversion. Moreover, a swift response to disturbances such as load fluctuations is critical for ensuring a stable power supply. Various strategies have been suggested to attain rapid response times. Among these, feedforward control stands out for its simplicity and quick response capabilities. However, the efficacy of this approach diminishes with variations in inductance values. In this study, we introduce a novel automatic calibrate the feedforward formula rapidly, utilizing the average input current value. This technique is implemented within the control operation framework. Simulation outcomes indicate an improvement in voltage stability with calibration over no calibration, especially when the inductance value changes by -25% and the load experiences fluctuations.
