The Shooting and Bouncing Rays (SBR) method, used in high-frequency bands, treats electromagnetic waves as rays to calculate the propagation loss and the delay time, and is effective even in complex propagation environments. However, as various processes were added, the simulation algorithm became more complex, and it became necessary to improve the efficiency of the ray-tracing method to shorten the computational time. In this research, by improving the ray-tracing algorithm of the conventional SBR-based simulation program, we aim to enhance the computational efficiency and reduce the calculation time. |
