[Poster Presentation] The Experiment on Controlling a Superconducting Qubit via Radio over Fiber Technology

(in English) In order to realize a large-scale superconducting quantum computer, it has been pointed out that the heat inflow through the coaxial lines used for control microwave signal transmission is excessive compared to the cooling capacity of the dilution refrigerator. To address this problem caused by coaxial lines, radio over fiber (RoF) technology using optical fibers with dielectric transmission lines and low thermal conductivity have been attracting attention. This presentation reports an experiment of detecting microwave signals for qubit control from photoelectric conversion in a dilution refrigerator using a RoF technology with an amplitude modulation method, an experiment of superconducting qubit control using the detected signals, and a comparison with a control system using a conventional method.
