Privacy Preservation of Reference State in Platoon Control

(in English) There is a growing demand for cyber security measures in vehicle platoon control. One environment that necessitates such measures is the traffic signal control (TSC) system using V2X communication. In the TSC system environment, there is a possibility that platoon information may be eavesdropped on by external attackers, leading to data spoofing attacks. These attacks involve sending false vehicle states to other vehicles within the platoon and the signal control system, disrupting signal timing plans and reducing intersection operational efficiency. This study aims to prevent platoon information estimation by external attackers who can eavesdrop on all vehicle information within the platoon in the TSC system. Specifically, we characterize the attackers by separating eavesdropped information from protected information, and we propose the construction of a consensus algorithm to achieve this separation.
