[Short Paper] A System for Visualizing and Estimating UV Exposure in Worksites Using Fixed and Wearable Devices

(in English) In recent years, the increase in extremely hot days has heightened the risk of health issues related to UV exposure for outdoor workers.
Prolonged exposure to ultraviolet rays can lead to skin cancer, cataracts, and other health concerns;
however, UV protection measures are often overlooked compared to heatstroke prevention in Japan.
In this study, we propose a real-time UV monitoring system that combines wearable devices with fixed UV measurement units.
By utilizing surrounding sensor data, the system can also estimate UV exposure for workers without wearable devices, enabling individualized risk management.
The effectiveness of the developed system was confirmed through operational testing.
