| 抄録 | （和） | コミュニケーションシステム研究会・画像工学研究会と深い関わりのある、画像通信や画像処理に関するIEEE Circuits and Systems Societyのフラッグシップ国際会議の一つであるIEEE VCIP (Visual Communications and Image Processing) 2024が、本研究会の前日まで(2024年12月8~11日に開催)、初めて日本(東京)で、基本的に対面で開催されていた。著者はこのGeneral Co-Chairとして計画から実行まで携わっていた。そこで本パネルでは、今年1年の出来事としては最もホットといえる本会合を取り上げ、その国際投稿状況や参加状況、研究トレンド、優秀発表、研究の活発な国や組織について報告し、今後注目されうる研究分野を含む今後の展望について述べる。 |
| （英） | IEEE VCIP (Visual Communications and Image Processing) 2024, one of the flagship conferences of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society on visual communications and image processing, which is closely related to the Technical Committees on Communication Systems and Image Engineering, was being held in Japan (Tokyo) for the first time, basically face-to-face, until the day before this meeting (December 8-11, 2024). The author was involved in the planning and execution of the conference as the General Co-Chair. In this panel, we will focus on this meeting, the hottest event of the year, and report on its international contributions and participation, research trends, excellent presentations, and active research countries and organizations, and discuss future prospects, including research areas that may attract attention in the future. | |
