Development of a Mixed Reality Environment for Tidal Phenomena Learning

(in English) This article proposes a system that uses Mixed Reality (MR) technology to merge the real and virtual worlds, and that allows learners to learn about the tidal phenomenon based on the relative positions of the sun, moon and Earth. This system uses Microsoft HoloLens 2 to map the spheres placed in the real world to the sun, moon and earth, and links the representation of virtual space with the manipulation of real-world objects. By moving the spheres in the real world, learners can manipulate the movement of the moon and earth in virtual space, and can also observe the tidal phenomenon while changing the viewpoint with gesture operation.
