Scene Montage Using Image Segmentation and Color Evaluation

(in English) One image-editing technique that generates output images with various effects on input images is image montage, in which multiple input images are combined to produce a single natural output image. In this study, we propose an image montage method that generates a virtual world scene with three-dimensional consistency as if it exists in the real world by selecting and combining appropriate groups of images from a database of input images taken of different scenes. The proposed method provides three-dimensional visual consistency to the virtual world scene by selecting appropriate image clusters according to the continuous movement of the viewer's point of view from left to right and back to front. Color histogram and semantic segmentation are used to evaluate the similarity between images.
