[Poster Presentation] Visualization of high-voltage charged parts by using EL devices in electric power facilities

(in English) In order to prevent electric shock accidents in electric power facilities, the visualization of the high-voltage charging parts has been investigated. One electrode of a dispersive inorganic electroluminescence (EL) device was connected to the charging part, and the other end was extended into the air. That induces a corona discharge, and EL emission. By rapid-thermal-annealing the commercial ZnS:Cu EL phosphor, we also succeeded in changing the EL emission color from blue to green, resulting in further improving visibility. The presently obtained luminance is over 20 cd/m^2, which enables easily visible even in rooms with natural light.
