Study of Vertical Polarized Beam Wireless Power Transfer with Dual Circularly Polarzied Receiver

(in English) We investigated a WPT system composed of vertical polarization transmitter and dual circularly polarization receiver through an electromagnetic field analysis and experiments. It was shown that a difference of received power between right-handed and left-handed circularly polarized antennas were very close. The parallel synthesis power after DC conversion is almost same not depend on the receiver installation angle. We conducted WPT experiments using a transmitter with an EIRP of 69.2 dBm, a dual circularly polarized antenna with a gain of approximately 6.5 dBic, and a rectifier with a maximum DC conversion efficiency of 60%. In the proposed system, the received power was approximately 45 mW at a transmission distance of 2 meters and approximately 120 mW at the distance of 1 meters.
