Preliminary study of influence of coronary artery bifurcation on functional stenosis assessment:A computational fluid simulation study

(in English) The CAG images also contain moving images of the contrast medium flow, and we have attempted to extract information equivalent to FFR from the CAG images. Since contrast flow is also recorded as a moving image on CAG images, attempts have been made to analyze the contrast flow from CAG images and extract information equivalent to FFR. However, it is clear that contrast flow is greatly affected by differences in the right and left coronary arteries and the location of stenosis. This study aims to systematize the knowledge of the relationship between morphological stenosis and contrast media flow by fluid dynamics simulation using OpenFOAM. In this presentation, we report on the effect of coronary bifurcation.
