Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Joint attention is a phenomenon which is known in infants as looking for where the attention of the counterpart is located and attempting to share it by seeing the same target. However, it is unclear what the role of the joint attention is in the social context in adults. In the present study, we focused on the Hexgame as a promising competitive game that reproduces the joint attention, and performed a gaze alignment analysis from gaze and scene camera measurements in human subject experiments. In order to detect the gaze alignment between two subjects facing each other, we applied a geometric transformation method to convert from perspective images to the ceiling camera view and extracted the potential joint attention time segment.
