We have proposed a system that transmits information by applying modulated vibration to the outer sheath of an optical fiber cable and using an optical fiber vibration sensor as a receiver. We have confirmed the improvement of reception characteristics by applying a frequency diversity receiver to this system and the usefulness of multi-channel transmission by direct sequence spread spectrum. Currently, a transmission rate of 100 bps has been achieved for single-channel transmission, but a higher transmission rate is required for multi-channel transmission by direct sequence spread spectrum. In this report, we propose a parallel transmission method for a transmission system using a Mach-Zehnder interferometer as an optical fiber vibration sensor. First, we confirm the basic transmission characteristics through experiments using two carrier waves. |
