With the increasing field of VR technology, VR motion sickness, characterized by dizziness and nausea, has become a critical issue. This study examines the “unstable swing phenomenon,” where a person feels a virtual swinging sensation while seated in a swing-like chair with their feet off the ground. This sensation occurs instantly depending on foot contact with the ground, and many people feel a similar sense of swing. The study explores the relationship between VR scene types and this swinging sensation, analyzes its underlying causes, and evaluates strategies to mitigate VR motion sickness. |
