Iterative Interference Replica Subtraction for Multiuser Massive MIMO Null-Space Expansion

(in English) This paper proposes an improved method for reducing computational complexity by employing the iterative interference replica subtraction technique (IRS), a simplified precoding scheme, in the null space expansion (NSE) that facilitates performance improvement in multi-user massive MIMO systems under time-varying channel conditions. Inter-user interference (IUI) caused by channel variation is a significant issue in multi-user massive MIMO systems. NSE improves IUI suppression by exploiting the large antenna degrees of freedom. During the weight generation process, the iterative interference replica subtraction method, which offers relatively low computational complexity, is utilized for inter-user interference suppression.
In this paper, the effectiveness of the proposed method is clarified by computer simulations through a comparison with the NSE and Zero-forcing (ZF).
