Decentralized exits are effective in alleviating congestion and reducing travel time when exiting event venues.
Although methods for designing optimal exit strategies using simulation have been proposed, the computational cost of running a large number of simulations is high.
However, the large computational cost of running a large number of simulations is an issue. We propose a method to find the exit time difference that minimizes the travel time in a two-trial simulation.
The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through simulations at three large event venues. |
