With advancements in computational resources, numerical simulations of sound fields, including the audible frequency range, have become highly precise. Recently, Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs), which integrate physical laws into machine learning models, have gained attention for sound field simulations. By combining observational data with governing equations, PINNs enable high-accuracy wave propagation analysis without discretizing the equations. This study incorporated wave equations into PINNs for simulating a free-field environment using CE-FDTD-based data as training. Results show that PINNs reduce numerical dispersion errors and achieve superior accuracy, particularly outside the training range, surpassing both CE-FDTD and conventional Data-Driven Neural Networks (DDNNs). |
