In this paper, we report on the acoustic analysis of a micro speaker using electromagnetic-structural-acoustic coupling. We compare the effectiveness of a new numerical analysis method that incorporates magnetic field analysis using FEM with a conventional method such as structural acoustic coupling analysis using the equivalent circuit method and FEM. Their effectiveness in the acoustic analysis for a small acoustic device is evaluated using both numerical methods. In addition, we verify the effect of setting material parameters (especially parameters related to diaphragms and permanent magnets) and adding magnetic field analysis on the frequency characteristics. |
