Blind source separation (BSS) is an acoustic signal processing technique that separates the target sound from a mixture without using prior information.For example, by applying real-time BSS to wearable hearing devices, it becomes possible to separate and emphasize the conversation partner's voice.However, the own voice may be unintentionally suppressed, making conversations difficult.In this study, we propose an approach that detects own voice using the relative transfer function (RTF) and emphasizes it and the target sound in real-time BSS.The experiment result to evaluate the time and accuracy of own voice detection showed that own voice can be detected regardless of the utterance length, speaker, and the source placement.In addition, in the proposed realtime-BSS system, we confirmed that own voice feedback to the user can be provided, improving conversations quality. |
