With the spread of smartphones, the use of AR technology is expanding. However, there is a possibility of degrading geometric consistency due to misalignment between real and virtual objects. In contrast, Indirect AR (IAR), which uses pre-captured omnidirectional images, has the advantage of maintaining the relative positions of real and virtual objects. However, it has the limitation of restricting user movement from the captured location. To address this issue, this research proposes an IAR system that reproduces motion parallax by combining spatial reconstruction technology using 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) and camera pose estimation technology utilizing SLAM. |
