A Study on CSI Based Human Fall Detection System in Wi-Fi Sensing

(in English) In recent years, indoor sensing technology utilizing Channel State Information (CSI) in IEEE 802.11bf has attracted significant attention. This study aims to develop a human fall detection (HFD) system using CSI, focusing on reducing data collection costs and improving environmental adaptability. By incorporating transfer learning and leveraging pre-trained networks, we propose a method capable of adapting to various environments. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed approach improves fall detection accuracy compared to conventional models while significantly reducing the burden of data collection. The findings of this study hold promise for practical applications in diverse fields, such as elderly care and safety management at construction sites.
