Byzantine Reliable Broadcast (BRB) is a fundamental problem in ensuring the reliability of distributed systems such as blockchain systems. Byzantine fault is a fault model of distributed systems characterized by arbitrary and unpredictable behavior. BRB aims to distribute a message to every correct process despite the existence of Byzantine processes. Research on dynamic networks has been growing significantly in recent years. Casteigts et al.~formalized a framework of dynamic networks as Time-Varying Graph (TVG) and defined a hierarchy of TVG classes based on their constraints of topological evolution. Bonomi et al.~proposed DCPA that works under $f$-locally Byzantine fault model in TVG and studied liveness conditions in two TVG classes. They defined two detection problems, Conscious Termination (CT) and Bounded Byzantine Latency (BBL), and identified the necessary oracles to detect these problems. This paper examines detection problems in TVG classes that have not been previously studied and determines the necessary oracles and conditions for detection. |
