Omnidirectional video lifelog with eye gaze information

(in English) Lifelog video is widely used as a means of recording an individual’s daily life. However, there is a problem in
that it is difficult to grasp the interests and intentions of the photographer when reviewing the video. For this reason, there are
studies that reflect the user’s interests in the lifelog video or extract interesting scenes, but these studies require a special device
to be worn at all times. In this study, we aim to realize a method to recall the user’s intention and interest in lifelogging without
requiring a special device other than the shooting device. We propose a lifelog video system that adds eye gaze information,
focusing on a fulldome camera and eye gaze information from the viewpoint of its suitability for lifelog video. The system
performs gaze estimation on video captured by a fulldome camera, and detects the area where the photographer is gazing at with
the fulldome camera based on the obtained gaze information. We implemented the system and verified it through experiments.
