| 抄録 | （和） | アバタの外見や特徴が，ユーザーの行動や心理に影響を及ぼすプロテウス効果が報告されている．プロテウス効果の研究は，三人称視点に限定され，VR空間内で鏡を使用し，視覚情報を基にしたプロテウス効果の検証が行われている．しかし，プロテウス効果における聴覚情報の役割は，十分に検討されていない.そこで我々は，足音から個人を識別する取り組みや,動作により自然に発生し,アバタの属性を連想しやすい特性から足音に着目した．よって，本研究は，足音によるアプローチを行う．重い体型をイメージ足音と軽い体型をイメージ足音の2種類を使いVR空間に没入させ，重りを持ち上げさせた．そして，現実の重さ知覚に与える影響を評価し，聴覚情報によるプロテウス効果の有無を検証した．その結果，VRアバタの体重知覚と足音で一致性がみられ，重い体型をイメージ足音を利用した場合，重りを軽く感じる傾向と重りの持ち上げられる回数が増える結果が確認された． |
| （英） | Existing studies have reported the Proteus Effect, in which the appearance and characteristics of the avatar operating in a VR space affect the user's behavior and psychology. Research on the Proteus effect has been limited to the third-person perspective, using mirrors within the VR space and verifying the Proteus effect based on visual information. However, the role of auditory information in the Proteus effect has not been sufficiently investigated. Therefore, we focused on footsteps because of the efforts to identify individuals from their footsteps, and because of the characteristics of footsteps, which are naturally generated by movements and easily associated with the attributes of avatars. Therefore, this study takes a footstep approach. We immersed the subjects in a VR space using two types of footsteps: one that evokes a heavy body shape and the other that evokes a light body shape, and had the subjects lift weights. Then, we evaluated the effects on the perception of weight in reality, and verified whether there was a Proteus effect due to auditory information. The results showed that the VR avatars' weight perception and footsteps were consistent, and the tendency to perceive the weight as lighter and the number of times the weight was lifted increased when the footsteps were used to imagine a heavy body shape. | |
