| 抄録 | （和） | 近年、自然災害が激甚化、頻発化が進んでいる。特に、我が国は自然災害が発生しやすい国土と言われており、災害時の迅速かつ確実な通信手段の確保という観点から通信衛星の重要性が益々高まっている。そのような中、衛星通信技術は著しく進展しており、低軌道・中軌道・静止軌道それぞれの軌道において民間企業の衛星通信サービス事業が急速に急拡大している。本発表では、世界の代表的な衛星通信サービスの動向を紹介するとともに、事業と技術の両面からメリットとデメリットを整理する。その上で、日本として備えるべき衛星通信の在り方について、具体的な事例を交えながら考察する。 |
| （英） | In recent years, the severity and frequency of natural disasters have been escalating. Japan, in particular, is recognized for its susceptibility to such calamities, underscoring the critical need for reliable and swift communication methods during emergencies. Amidst this backdrop, satellite communication technology has advanced significantly, with private enterprises rapidly expanding their services across low, medium, and geostationary orbits. This presentation will explore the global trends in prominent satellite communication services, evaluating their advantages and disadvantages from both business and technical perspectives. Furthermore, it will delve into the optimal framework for satellite communication in Japan, illustrated through specific case studies. | |
