| 抄録 | （和） | ろう・難聴者が映像を視聴する際，字幕は内容の把握や理解をする上で非常に重要である． 地上デジタル放送開始以降，字幕の利用が広がり，近年のオンライン動画コンテンツでも音声認識技術を用いた字幕が提供されるようになってきている． しかしながら，字幕では声色やトーンなどの音声情報が失われることが多く，特に話者交代の多いエンターテインメント作品では，通常の字幕ではろう・難聴者は話者が誰であるかの情報や，感情の読み取りに困難があると考えられる． 本研究では，ろう・難聴者がオンライン動画でエンターテインメント作品を視聴する際に生じる聴者との情報格差を解消することを目的として，字幕の表示タイミング・位置を，独自のゲームアプリの開発を通して明らかにする. 本稿では，YouTube動画の字幕付与状況の調査結果と，字幕配置リズムゲームアプリcaptiOnstageのプロトタイプについて報告する． |
| （英） | When deaf and hard-of-hearing people watch videos, captions are very important for them to grasp and understand the content. Since the start of terrestrial digital broadcasting, the use of captions has spread, and in recent years, captions using voice recognition technology have been provided for online video content. However, captions often lose audio information such as tone and voice, and it is thought that deaf and hard-of-hearing people have difficulty reading the speaker's information and emotions, especially in entertainment works that have many speaker changes, with normal captions. In this study, we aim to eliminate the information gap that occurs when deaf and hard-of-hearing people watch entertainment works on online videos, by clarifying the timing and position of caption display through the development of a unique game app. This paper reports the results of a survey on the status of captions on YouTube videos and the prototype of the caption placement rhythm game app captiOnstage. |
