Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Drone wireless communication is an important technology for non-terrestrial networks aimed at Beyond 5G, with applications expected in aerial base stations and more. This study formulates an optimization problem for time slot allocation considering interference, with the goal of maximizing throughput, by assuming bidirectional relay drone multi-hop communication using millimeter-wave wireless communication to explore the feasibility of drone utilization in high-capacity communication. By optimizing the formulated problem, it is shown that throughput can be improved compared to continuous time slot allocation that does not consider interference. Furthermore, this proposed method is applied to optimize the number of drones, demonstrating that it can determine the optimal number of drones based on required throughput and relay distance.
