Developing "Koe-kake" Scheduling Service for Personalized Conversation in Virtual Agent Listening Service

(in English) The proportion of older adults living alone in Japan is increasing.Caregivers provide health monitoring through ``Koe-kake'', which is verbal communication.Our research group has been developing a Virtual Agent (VA) Listening Service.However, the current service only allows for common statements to be set for all users,making it difficult to provide individualized support tailored to each older adults.To address this issue, this study develops a ``Koe-kake Scheduling Service'', which operates separately from the VA Listening Service and enables caregivers to set personalized voice prompts and timing for each older adults. This system is expected to facilitate voice prompts tailored to individual needs and contribute to reducing caregiver burden.The experiment confirmed that this service has the potential to reduce caregiver burden.
