Currently, the shortage of manpower is becoming serious in nursing homes, and system-based mental health care is required. In this study, we examined the usefulness of a listening agent using a solution-oriented approach and a dialogue technique called reflection in a metaverse environment. In addition, the connection between listening agents and elderly people's speech was primarily examined using Epistemic Network Analysis (ENA), a method commonly employed in the field of education. The results showed that positive and negative emotions were partially improved. However, some emotions were not improved through the dialogue. The ENA also revealed that the connection between the system questions and self-disclosure was weak in the first half, but became stronger in the second half. The actual speech content revealed that the elderly self-disclosed in response to the listening agent's questions as the interaction progressed. These results provide insight into the implementation of system-based psychotherapy in nursing homes. |
