| 抄録 | （和） | メタバースのようなバーチャル空間においては，ユーザのQoE (Quality of Experience, 体験品質) がその空間内でのコミュニケーションに直接的な影響を与える．コミュニケーションとは通信だけではなく，通信の末端に存在する人のコミュニケーションも意味しており，QoEはこのコミュニケーションにも大きく影響する．従来の映像ストリーミングや2Dのオンラインゲームと比較して, バーチャル空間は没入型の体感であるため，ネットワーク品質の低下が顕著な影響を及ぼす．また，アバターを介したコミュニケーションは現実世界の外見（性別、社会的ステータスなど）とは異なるため，リアルでのコミュニケーションとは異なる側面が存在する．本稿では，まずバーチャル空間のQoEに関する研究動向について報告する．次にバーチャル空間におけるQoEと人間のコミュニケーションに焦点を当てVRChatやClusterなどのソーシャルプラットフォーム上でユーザが経験する「臨場感のある交流」が従来のオンラインコミュニケーションと比較してどのように異なるかについて考察する． |
| （英） | In virtual spaces such as the metaverse, a user's QoE (Quality of Experience) directly influences communication within that space. Communication refers not only to the technical aspect of communication but also to the interpersonal communication that occurs at the endpoints of communication, and QoE has a significant impact on this as well. Compared to traditional video streaming and online games, virtual spaces have an immersive, sensory experience, so a decline in network quality has a more pronounced effect. Furthermore, communication via avatars differs from real-world appearances (such as gender, social status, etc.), introducing aspects that are distinct from real-life communication. This paper first reports on the trends in research related to QoE in virtual spaces. It then focuses on QoE in virtual spaces and human communication, considering how the "immersive interaction" that users experience on social platforms like VRChat and Cluster differs from traditional online communication. | |
