(in English) In recent years, the risk of communication interference has increased due to the increase in the number of satellites in orbit as a result of the expansion of space utilization. Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), NEC Corporation (NEC), and NEC Space Technologies, Ltd. (NECSpace) are developing transponders with the ability to actively mitigate negative effects of interferences in order to ensure reliable TT&C circuits.
We have developed the following technologies (1) to (3) as new functions to ensure interference resistance, and will report the results of confirming the performance of these functions at the BBM level.
(1) A function to perform a fast Fourier transform (FFT) on received signals in orbit and monitor them, (2) A function to distinguish between desired signals and interference based on the monitoring results and detect interference, and (3) A function to automatically identify and suppress interference when the level is high.
