In order to establish stable communications in the vertical direction between the ground and satellites, it is important to reduce the effects of weather conditions such as clouds and rainfall on communication. As a countermeasure technology, the utilization of site diversity techniques can be mentioned as a countermeasure to avoid the effects of clouds in satellite optical communication. In this report, we report the results of a study on the effects of optical communication based on observation data on the ground surface and meteorological data obtained from a satellite. |
