Simultaneous detection of replay attacks using neural networks in control systems

(in English) In recent years, control systems used in infrastructure facilities are increasingly being operated while connected to external networks． As a result, the number of attacks on control systems has been increasing, and the need for a detection system that monitors communications and prevents the spread of damage caused by attacks is growing． However, replay attacks, in which normal communications are retransmitted, are difficult to detect by the communication contents．In this report, we conduct a detection of replay attacks on control systems using neural networks． We classify control system communications into three communication patterns, and create a classification model for each pattern to detect replay attacks independent of the communication patterns．In addition, we measure the preprocessing time and inference time, and confirm that simultaneous detection is possible with a three-layer neural network．
