(in English) This report presents the current research trends observed through participation in the flagship conferences of the AP field and the microwave field: IEEE AP-S/URSI 2025, IEEE IMS 2025, and the IEEE international conference iWEM 2025 which rotates across eastern Asia. At IMS 2025, presentations focused on millimeter-wave and terahertz technologies, with notable contributions also in AI and Intelligent Reflecting Surfaces (IRS). At AP-S/URSI 2025, the impact of IRS has expanded research themes related to metamaterials and metasurfaces, and there has been a noticeable increase in presentations not only on millimeter-wave and terahertz technologies but also in the field of AI contributed to antenna developments. This report also includes information obtained from meetings held during the AP-S/URSI 2025 conference period.
