In this report, we propose a method for generating heart-rate distribution images by applying a heart-rate estimation method --TF-RHYTHMM(TF Ridge-based Heart-rate estimation Yielded THrough Mode Matching)-- using time domain eigenmode analysis to MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) channel data acquired by a massive MIMO radar. In the proposed method, first, time domain eigenmode analysis is applied to the acquired MIMO channel data to separate the heartbeat components in the time domain. Next, MIMO channel data corresponding to the heart-rate is calculated using the weights generated based on the separated heart-rate components. Finally, heart-rate distribution images are generated using the MIMO channel data corresponding to this heart-rate using the beamformer method. The comparison of the generated heart-rate distribution images with those obtained using conventional methods showed that the distribution across the entire body surface, likely caused by body movement and the distribution in anatomically unlikely regions was suppressed, while the distribution in the abdominal and wrist areas was emphasized. |
