This study conducts a regression analysis using data from various states in India, with GDP per capita as the target variable. The objective is to examine whether investments in technical education or general education have a greater impact on GDP growth, based on education expenditure data. As an explainable AI (XAI) approach within the regression model, we employ SHAP (SHapley Additive exPlanations). SHAP is a method that quantitatively indicates the contribution of each explanatory variable to the target variable, thereby enhancing the interpretability of black-box models. The analysis reveals that technical education plays a significant role in driving economic growth. This method enables the visualization of regional differences in growth factors and structural trends, offering valuable insights for policymaking. |
