In magnetic coupled wireless power transfer, the load voltage Vo-load resistance R characteristics take on a variety of forms depending on the combined circuit method, including the magnetic coupling form, resonance form, and drive method. The corresponding power and efficiency characteristics are also diverse. Author has been exploring the mechanisms that determine these Vo-R characteristics. It is known ηmaxkQ theoretical formula gives maximum efficiency in wireless power transfer. It is a simple formula expressed mainly in k and Q, and the efficiency characteristics can be read from the formula structure. In this study, attempted to derive theoretical formula in k,Q notation that represents Vo-R characteristics of a representative circuit method. As a result, author was able to identify theoretical formulas for Vo in k,Q notation that match or approximate theoretical characteristics. It is a simple formula expressed mainly in terms of k and Q, and confirmed its usefulness in understanding the mechanisms behind the various Vo-R characteristics and magnitude of the values from the formula structure. Furthermore, from this formula, identified relationships with important power and efficiency indicators. |
