Motion Blurring and Blending Processing for Mixed Reality

(in English) In case of Mixed Reality that blending with natural image and CG, Matching of Frequency/gamma characteristics and contrast is important. For motion pictures, motion blur for CG is required also. It is realized by multi-rendering and frame averaging with high-temporal resolution. However, the temporal resolution and the averaging length should be decided by the operator, and, an optimization is not easy. In this report, magnitude and direction of the motion blur using two-dimensional spectrum of natural image is estimated at first. The filter designed by matched parameters is used to make motion blur in CG. To realize blending with motion blur, the alpha-plane is also filtered by the motion blur filter. Finally, we propose an ideal blending with over sampling and averaging. This processing realizes a smooth motion blurred blending and anti-aliasing processing.
