Accurate Measurement of Heartbeat by Using Echoes from Multiple Body Parts

(in English) Non-contact heart rate measurement using millimeter-wave radar has attracted considerable attention. Conventional methods typically rely on a single echo from the human body to estimate heart rate. However, if the heartbeat components in the echo are weaker than other components, the accuracy of estimation deteriorates. In this study, we propose a method for accurate estimation of heart rate by leveraging multiple echoes with stronger heartbeat components from different parts of the body. We evaluated the performance of the proposed method through experiments.
