(in English) The brain activity can be considered as circuit network activity in the gray matter, and a small current is then generated in the corresponding area. Electroencephalogram (EEG) measures voltage changes on the scalp surface and is used for preoperative diagnosis of brain disease. However, EEG-based source estimation has lower spatial resolution compared with magnetoencephalography (MEG), improving the accuracy of brain activity estimation is required. We have developed the source localization method for EEG, using a high-resolution human head model constructed from individual MR images. In this paper, we numerically evaluated the accuracy of brain activity estimation in response to stimulation of the median nerve, the ulnar nerve, and the fingers, and numerically evaluated the source localization accuracy to investigate the achievable spatial resolution.
