Antenna Decoupling Network Using Even and Odd Modes Transmission Line Resonators Terminated by a Reactance Element

(in English) This paper describes an antenna decoupling network using even and odd modes transmission line resonators terminated by a reactance element. This decoupling network consists of a single-stage parallel network and is designed using theoretical equations. The design was performed for a 2.4 GHz band monopole antenna. First, the mutual admittance of the decoupling network was formulated, and the simultaneous equations for the desired decoupling characteristics were solved. Next, the decoupling network was designed in a circuit simulator based on the obtained solution, achieving decoupling of -20.5 dB over 2.4 - 2.5 GHz. Finally, in electromagnetic simulation, decoupling of -20.1 dB was achieved over 2.4 - 2.5 GHz. The designed decoupling network is smaller than that of other decoupling networks.
