(in English) Tohoku University and other thirteen collaborating universities are working together in development and operation of Basic SecCap course since 2016. The course provides lectures and practical training in field of information security for students in the coalition as well as additional participating universities. A PBL class is typically a two-days training program on a specified problem such as network security, web service security, incident response, cipher hardware, and privacy protection. Advanced PBL and graduate school internship are intended as optional advanced trainings for small classes, and the latter is provided by graduate schools. The Basic SecCap course educated almost 2000 students in nine years.
