This paper studies fault tolerance of a paralleled system of buck conveters by winner-take-all switching rule. Thesystem exhibits multi-phase synchronization phenomena and chaotic phenomena. This switching rule can realize multi-phasesynchronization automatically: it is suitable for ripple reduction, current sharing, and efficient power supply. Applying a simplepiecewise constant modelling, the stability of the multiphase synchronization and the ripple characteristics of the output current are clarified theoretically. Based on the theoretical results, characteristic of the fault tolerance is considered. |
