(in English) In the hilly and mountainous areas of Shikoku, there is a growing need for low-capacity, low number of times wireless systems for agricultural water level monitoring and other applications. While there are currently institutionalized methods for using LPWA in the 920MHz and 429MHz bands, it is difficult to reach beyond the line of sight over the mountains. To solve this problem, a 400MHz narrowband LoRa communication system was tested with an eye toward institutionalization, using LoRa with high reception sensitivity and increased transmission output to 1W, making it possible to introduce the system within Shikoku.
