(in English) To mitigate the complexity, development cycle, and cost of dedicated impulse radar systems, this study proposes a swift solution to develop the baseband processor firmware and implement a C-band impulse radar system with some hardware and software synchronization techniques based on lightweight and low-cost commercially available SDR devices. By adopting an external common clock source, a precise synchronization mechanism and signal protocol for impulse mode operation can be designed and implemented with a bridge board between two SDR devices to achieve direct wave mitigation, dual-channel operation, and flexible configuration simultaneously, supposed to be further applied to microwave remote sensing.
