A Note on Evaluating Vehicle-To-Vehicle Communication Performance under DoS Attacks with Stochastic Petri Nets

(in English) This paper presents a stochastic Petri net model for analyzing IEEE 802.11p-based vehicle-to-vehicle communication under denial-of-service attacks. The proposed model incorporates both legitimate and adversarial message flows to assess system performance and robustness. By constructing the underlying Markov chain and solving for its steady-state distribution, key performance metrics, such as channel utilization, and system (channel) availability, are derived. Furthermore, a robustness analysis with respect to the number of normal and attacker messages provides quantitative insights into their impact on system performance under adversarial conditions.
