Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Design-for-diagnosability methods have been proposed at register-transfer level to increase the estimated number of distinguishable fault pairs. Furthermore, high-level synthesis for diagnosability allows for modification of the register transfer level circuit structure, potentially enabling the synthesis of register transfer level circuits with even greater diagnosability. A register binding method for diagnosability was proposed to increase the number of observation registers for each operational unit. In this paper, we propose a register binding method for diagnosability that not only increases the number of observation registers for operational units, but also introduces the concept of dummy operations that utilize the idle state of operational units and registers at each time.
